Laguna Hills, CA: APPLIED CARDIAC SYSTEMS, INC. (ACS), a recognized leader of non-invasive instrumentation, is proud to announce that it has received approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid to become an Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF) for cardiac monitoring.
Independent Diagnostic Testing Facilities face rigorous performance standards for compliance with Federal and State licensing, secure data processing, and protocols to ensure the health and safety of patients and patients’ private health information. ACS Diagnostics, the corporate scanning division of Applied Cardiac Systems, has met the criteria as outlined by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid and has obtained Medicare billing privileges.
“Becoming an Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility has taken the ACS Diagnostics team through a series of quality control measures. We have worked tirelessly to meet the IDTF performance standards. ACS Diagnostics provides physicians with quality Holter Monitoring reports efficiently and securely. We’ve taken extraordinary measures to ensure that patient data is always protected. Physicians nationwide use and trust our scanning services. And, now we are proud to be able to provide them with additional billing options,” said Samia Oscoff, ACS Diagnostics Center Supervisor.
